La Campania è una regione ricca di cultura, arte e gastronomia e dunque, una terra da amare e scoprire.
Il successo del suo turismo è dovuto alla presenza del mare, ma al contempo, di uno straordinario patrimonio storico-artistico.
Nell’ultima stagione estiva la Campania è stata presa d’assalto da turisti, provenienti da ogni parte del mondo, che hanno generato un aumento di prenotazioni del 33% in più rispetto al precedente anno, questo è quel che hanno accertato tutti i motori di ricerca di voli ed alloggi.
Tra le mete preferite dei turisti primeggiano Sorrento e l’intera Costiera Amalfitana: non solo Amalfi e Positano ma altresì Ravello ed il meno conosciuto seppur altrettanto straordinario Praiano, senza dimenticare ovviamente la città di Napoli con il suo Vesuvio ed il “variopinto” centro storico che quest’anno ha festeggiato lo Scudetto divenendo campione d’Italia e addobbando ogni via e vicolo d’azzurro.
In effetti, Napoli si presenta come un vero e proprio museo e teatro a cielo aperto dove ogni avvenimento diviene arte, a partire dai cortili degli storici Palazzi, dalle vie in cui si esibiscono magistralmente cantanti ed artisti di strada e, poi, ancora stazioni, caffè, locali tipici e persino gli hotel.
Ne è esempio un gioiello della Napoli storica, Palazzo Caracciolo, una fantastica dimora antica e che oggi è divenuta un hotel di lusso collocato nel pieno centro storico della città ed in cui è presente un ristorante aperto a chiunque, non solo agli ospiti.
Palazzo Caracciolo, oltretutto, tiene periodicamente rappresentazioni teatrali, concerti, nel corso dei quali si rende omaggio a cantanti napoletani noti in tutto il mondo quali Pino Daniele.
Le camere dell’elegante hotel, pertanto, divengono scenografia di eventi; mentre cerimonie e feste si svolgono all’interno del chiostro dove sobrietà e raffinatezza, design e comfort si fondono in un armonioso intreccio tra stile contemporaneo e storicità del luogo.
La dimora, costruita nel XVI secolo, apparteneva ai Caracciolo, una delle famiglie più illustri di Napoli.
E non è l’unica ad essersi trasformata nel tempo in un luogo di ospitalità.
In effetti, a rendere speciale la regione Campania è proprio l’amore che i locali hanno nei confronti della loro terra e dei loro beni che, dunque, mettono generosamente a disposizione dei turisti adeguandola ai tempi attuali.
Ed è per questo, spesso, dimore storiche divengono strutture alberghiere.
Oltre a Palazzo Caracciolo, vi è un altro centro turistico degno di essere menzionato: si tratta della struttura che appartiene da anni alla famiglia Ferraioli e, più in particolare, ad Andrea Ferraioli, Presidente del Distretto Turistico Costa d’Amalfi, che, assieme alla moglie Suela, gestisce l’Hotel Margherita di Praiano, gioiello meraviglioso ma poco conosciuto, a differenza di località più note quali Amalfi, Positano e Ravello.
Quest’ultima, infatti, era figlia del medico condotto di Praiano e dopo il matrimonio decise di trasferirsi in America, dove però non riuscì a dimenticare le sue origini partenopee, al punto da tornare in Italia per inseguire il suo sogno: restaurare la casa di famiglia che, poi, i suoi discendenti Andrea Ferraioli e Suela hanno trasformato in un hotel ma, invero in un tempio dell’ospitalità che punta sull’innovazione e che guarda al futuro nel pieno rispetto dell’ambiente e dell’eco-sostenibilità.
Perché Andrea Ferraioli ne è certo: “Bisogna puntare su hotel eco-friendly per ridurre sprechi, utilizzando di contro energie alternative e materiali riciclabili per la salvaguardia del pianeta…”.
Altra meta prediletta dai turisti è Sorrento, località che, al pari delle altre della Costiera, punta a mettere a proprio agio i turisti nel pieno rispetto dell’ambiente.
All’interno dell’Hotel Capri ad esempio, collocato nel pieno centro di Sorrento, gli ospiti non possono non condividere lo slogan dello stesso albergo: “In hotel come a casa…”, perché obiettivo di gran parte delle strutture oramai è far sentire le persone non turisti ma ospiti.
Del resto, generosità e cortesia contraddistinguono da sempre gli abitanti della Campania, la cui terra emana un calore umano che fa sentire gli ospiti accolti come in una grande famiglia ed è proprio questo aspetto ad attrarre sempre più turisti, provenienti da ogni parte del mondo per godere di tanta e tale bellezza di cui non potranno che portare uno straordinario ricordo per sempre.

Campania is a land in step with the times, which is generous towards tourists and willing to transform historic residences into modern and eco-friendly hotel facilities

Campania is a region full of culture, art and gastronomy, a land to love and to discover.
The success of its tourism is due to the presence of the sea, and at the same time for its extraordinary historical and artistic heritage.
In the last summer season, Campania was assaulted by tourists from all over the world, which generated a 33% increase in bookings compared to the previous year, this is what all the online searches of flights and accommodations have ascertained.
Some of the favorite tourist destinations include Sorrento and the entire Amalfi Coast and standing out are not only Amalfi and Positano but also Ravello and the lesser known but equally extraordinary Praiano, without forgetting the city of Naples with Vesuvius and its “colorful” historic center that this year celebrated SS Napoli’s win in the Italian championship by decorating every street and alley with the blue of its shirts.
As a matter of fact, Naples looks like a real museum and an open-air theater, where every event becomes art, starting with the courtyards of the historic palaces, to the streets where singers and street artists perform, and stations, cafés, typical restaurants and even hotels.
An example of this is Palazzo Caracciolo, a fantastic ancient residence, and a jewel of historic Naples, which today has become a luxury hotel located in the historic city center and where its restaurant is open to anyone and not only for guests.
Palazzo Caracciolo periodically hosts theatrical performances, concerts, and tributes to world famous Neapolitan singers, such as Pino Daniele.
The rooms of the elegant hotel become the setting for events; while ceremonies and parties take place in the cloister where sobriety, refinement, design, and comfort come together in a harmonious blend of contemporary style and the historicity of the place.
Built in the 16th century, the house once belonged to the Caracciolo family, one of Naples’ most illustrious families.
And it is not the only one to have been transformed over time into a place of hospitality.
Indeed, what makes the Campania region so special is the love of the locals for their land and its products which they generously make available to tourists, adapting then to the current times.
And this is the reason that ancient historic residences often become hotels.
In addition to Palazzo Caracciolo, there is another tourist center worthy of mention. This is the structure that has belonged to the Ferraioli family for years, specifically, to Andrea Ferraioli, President of the Amalfi Coast Tourist District, who, with his wife Suela, manages the Hotel Margherita in Praiano, a wonderful but little-known jewel, compared to the most famous places such as Amalfi, Positano and Ravello.
Suela was the daughter Praiano’s general practitioner and after her marriage she decided to move to America where she could not forget her Neapolitan origins, to the point that she returned to Italy to pursue her dream, to restore a family home which its descendants, Andrea Ferraioli and Suela, transformed into a hotel, a temple of hospitality that focuses on innovation and looks to the future, with full respect for the environment and eco-sustainability.
Because Andrea Ferraioli is sure that: “We need to focus on eco-friendly hotels to reduce waste, using instead alternative energies and recyclable materials to protect our planet...”.
Another favorite tourist destination is Sorrento, a locality which, like the others on the coast, aims to put tourists at ease, while fully respecting the environment.
For example, inside the Hotel Capri located in the heart of Sorrento, guests cannot fail to share the hotel’s slogan: “In the hotel like at home…”, because the goal of most of the structures is to make people feel like guests and not like tourists.
Moreover, generosity and courtesy have always distinguished the inhabitants of the Campania region, a land which gives off human warmth that makes guests feel welcomed like in a big family and it is this aspect that attracts tourists from all over the world to enjoy so much beauty that it can only lead to extraordinary memories which will last forever.
