Ischia, la perla del Mediterraneo: un luogo che unisce bellezza naturale, ricchezza storica e cinema.

Ischia, situata nel Golfo di Napoli, è una delle perle più preziose del Mar Mediterraneo: un’Isola in grado di unire bellezza naturale, ricchezza storica e cinema.
Le sue spiagge, le terme naturali e la bellezza incontaminata dei paesaggi hanno sempre attratto registi e attori, provenienti da ogni parte del mondo: i più grandi nomi di Hollywood e, prima ancora, italiani, tra cui Alberto Sordi, Sophia Loren e Anna Magnani, fino alle più attuali icone del presente, hanno reso Ischia uno dei luoghi più suggestivi al mondo.
…Perché Ischia è un vero angolo di paradiso, oltre a rappresentare un polo per il turismo termale.
Senza dimenticare personaggi del calibro di Angelo Rizzoli, noto editore, amante dell’arte e della storia e che, perciò, frequentò a lungo l’Isola, decidendo di occuparsi di un rilevante progetto di ampliamento di bellissime terme, perfettamente funzionanti ancor oggi e situate nella zona di Lacco Ameno.
…Perché ad Ischia non vi sono limiti di età per rilassarsi e divertirsi: Forio è, ad esempio, frequentato dai più giovani per la movida ed i numerosi locali; Lacco Ameno, invece, è meta preferita dai più adulti, che amano rilassarsi e godere delle terme presenti all’interno di alberghi, collocati in posizioni straordinarie e ricchi di ogni genere di comfort.
E, proprio grazie alla presenza di tanti e tale strutture, fin dagli anni ’50, la zona di Lacco Ameno non ha più smesso di essere frequentata dal mese di maggio ad ottobre di ogni anno.
…Impossibile non ricordare alberghi quali “La Reginella” ed il “Regina Isabella”, luoghi prediletti da personaggi e volti noti fin dall’epoca denominata “Swinging Ischia” e che poi, hanno continuato ad esserlo per la presenza di piscine termali, Spa e Resort ma, invero, non solo.
Fu il noto editore Angelo Rizzoli ad occuparsi dell’intera ristrutturazione di Piazza Municipio a Lacco Ameno, oltre che della costruzione dell’albergo “La Reginella” e della demolizione del vecchio complesso di Santa Restituta, per l’edificazione dell’albergo “Regina Isabella”.
Così, nello storico Corso Angelo Rizzoli, dedicato a chi ha tanto amato Ischia, appare oggi un crocevia tra presente e passato, che riporta alla memoria i tempi oramai tramontati della “Dolce Vita” ma che è possibile percepire ancora.
Gli amanti dell’arte e della storia, oltre che del benessere e della salute, potranno poi godere anche della visita presso la Chiesa di Santa Restituta, all’interno della quale sono custoditi i resti della colonia greca di Pithecusae risalenti all’VIII secolo a.C. ed il più moderno busto in bronzo posto a ricordo di Angelo Rizzoli, giustamente ritenuto demiurgo del luogo.
…Un uomo che, oltre, ad essere un grande professionista nel campo dell’editoria e del cinema, ha contribuito a rendere famosa l’Isola, finanziando i lavori di ammodernamento delle terme e così assecondando le richieste dell’amico medico Piero Malcovati.
Perché uomini tanto straordinari non possono fare a meno di unire la bellezza esteriore, che soddisfa l’occhio, con la bellezza interiore che affascina l’animo, finanche contribuendo alla cura della salute fisica.
Così, nel cuore di una splendida baia affacciata su un mare cristallino, è possibile soggiornare all’interno di spazi decorati con maioliche e arredi in stile anni ’50 ma che si fondono perfettamente con dettagli più moderni.

Ischia, located in the Gulf of Naples, is one of the most precious pearls of the Mediterranean Sea: an island capable of combining natural beauty, a wealth of history and cinema.
Its beaches, natural spas and the uncontaminated beauty of the countryside have attracted directors and actors from all over the world: the biggest names of Hollywood, and before them Italian stars including Alberto Sordi, Sophia Loren and Anna Magnani, to the present day’s icons, who have made Ischia one of the most evocative places in the world.
…Because Ischia is a true corner of paradise, as well as being a centre for Spa tourism.
Without forgetting characters of the calibre of Angelo Rizzoli, a famous publisher, lover of art and history who therefore frequented the Island for a long time, deciding to take charge of a significant plan to expand the beautiful baths located around Lacco Ameno which still function perfectly today.
…Because there are no age limits for fun and relaxation in Ischia. For example, Forio is, frequented by younger people for its nightlife and many clubs, while Lacco Ameno, on the other hand, is a favourite destination for adults who love to relax and enjoy the spas in the hotels located in extraordinary positions and full of every kind of comfort.
Thanks precisely to the presence of so many such structures, since the 1950s the area of Lacco Ameno has never ceased being frequented from May to October every year.
…It is impossible not to mention hotels such as “La Reginella” and the “Regina Isabella”, the favourite places of personalities and famous faces from the time called “Swinging Ischia”. Indeed, due to the presence of thermal pools, they continued to be spas and resorts and not only.
It was the famous publisher Angelo Rizzoli who took on the entire restructuring of Piazza Municipio in Lacco Ameno, as well as the construction of the hotel “La Reginella” and the demolition of the old Santa Restituta complex for the construction of the “Regina Isabella”.
In this reason, in the historic Corso Angelo Rizzoli dedicated to the man who loved Ischia so much, there is an intersection of the past and the present that today recalls the “Dolce Vita” which can still be perceived.
In addition to wellness and health, lovers of art and history will also enjoy a visit to the Church of Santa Restituta within which are the remains of the Greek colony of Pithecusae dating back to the 8th century B.C. and a very modern modern bronze bust placed in memory of Angelo Rizzoli, rightly considered the creator of the place.
…He was a man who, in addition to being a great professional in the field of publishing and cinema, contributed to making the Island famous and financed the modernization of the Spas, complying with the requests of his doctor friend Piero Malcovati.
Because such extraordinary men cannot help but combine external beauty, which satisfies the eye, with internal beauty, which fascinates the soul, which also contributes to the care of physical health.
So, in the heart of a splendid bay overlooking by crystalline sea it is possible to stay in spaces decorated with majolica tiles and ‘50s-style furnishings which blend perfectly with more modern details.
