Atreju 2024, la storica manifestazione promossa da Gioventù Nazionale, ha visto quest’anno la partecipazione straordinaria del Presidente del Consiglio Giorgia Meloni. L’evento, che si svolge ogni anno a Roma, rappresenta un’importante occasione di incontro per i giovani del centrodestra, ma anche per i leader politici italiani e internazionali.
“Siamo all’altezza del mondo, so che l’Italia è all’altezza del mondo!” – Nel suo intervento Meloni ha sottolineato l’importanza della coesione all’interno della sua coalizione e ha ribadito la necessità di un’azione politica unitaria per affrontare le sfide che l’Italia incontra. “Abbiamo bisogno di un’Italia forte e unita, capace di rispondere alle sfide globali e di garantire un futuro migliore alle nostre nuove generazioni”, ha dichiarato, richiamando l’attenzione su temi cruciali come l’economia, la sicurezza e l’immigrazione.
“Onoreremo fino all’ultimo giorno il compito che ci è stato dato, – ha ribadito la Premier dal palco di Atreju davanti al “tappeto” di bandiere tricolori.
Proseguendo la Presidente del Consiglio ha toccato praticamente tutti i principali temi di attualità specialmente riguardo i centri di immigrazione in Albania che, assicura lei, “funzioneranno” “perché io sono una persona perbene e voglio combattere la mafia”.
“Il protocollo con l’Albania è la cosa più temuta dai trafficanti, fermare il protocollo è il favore più grande che possiamo fare a questi criminali,” – ha ribadito la Premier.
La leader di Fratelli d’Italia ha anche voluto mettere in evidenza i risultati raggiunti dal suo governo in un periodo di grande difficoltà economica e sociale. “In questi mesi abbiamo lavorato duramente per rilanciare l’economia, sostenere le famiglie e garantire la sicurezza dei nostri cittadini”, ha affermato, evidenziando le misure adottate per contrastare l’inflazione e sostenere le imprese.
Meloni ha parlato anche di Europa, esprimendo la sua visione di un’Unione Europea più giusta e vicina ai cittadini. Ha auspicato un rafforzamento della sovranità nazionale, affermando che “l’Italia deve avere voce in capitolo nelle decisioni che ci riguardano, senza subire passivamente le imposizioni di Bruxelles”.
Non poteva mancare però la critica alla sinistra – nel suo discorso Meloni ha nominato numerose volte sia la segretaria del PD Elly Shlein che Romano Prodi.
“A Schlein si inceppa la lingua quando deve dire la parola Stellantis”, – ha detto Meloni riguardo la crisi della azienda automobilistica.
Ha parlato anche di Landini dicendo – “La verità è che gli scioperi non li organizza per aiutare i lavoratori ma per aiutare la sinistra”. La presidente di Fratelli d’Italia non ‘risparmia’ neanche i Vip contrari ai provvedimenti del governo in materia di ordine pubblico, come “il guru dell’antimafia Roberto Saviano” o come i tanti “attori e cantanti” che sono scesi in campo contro il DDL sicurezza “Avranno lo stesso risultato di Hollywood contro Donald Trump”.
Ha parlato anche di Trump facendogli gli auguri dal palco come Presidente appena eletto e ha ribadito che come “donna di destra sono felice di poter dialogare con conservatori americani”.
“La stabilità garantisce a questa nazione la credibilità internazionale, – ha ribadito la Premier che ha ricevuto al seguito un endorsement importante dalla CNN, secondo la quale Giorgia Meloni potrebbe “colmare le distanze tra Usa e Unione Europea” e che la crescente popolarità del governo Meloni “hanno reso Roma l’attore chiave nelle relazioni tra Europa e Stati Uniti”.
Infine, Meloni ha concluso il suo discorso con un appello ai giovani presenti: “Voi siete il futuro di questo paese. Non abbiate paura di sognare in grande e di impegnarvi attivamente per costruire l’Italia che desiderate”. Le sue parole hanno suscitato entusiasmo tra i giovani, che si sono sentiti chiamati in causa a essere protagonisti del cambiamento.
Atreju 2024 si conferma, dunque, un’importante piattaforma di dialogo e confronto, dove le idee e le visioni per il futuro dell’Italia possono emergere e prendere forma. La partecipazione di Meloni ha dato un impulso significativo a questo dibattito, rafforzando il messaggio di un centrodestra coeso e determinato a guidare il Paese.

Atreju 2024, the historic event promoted by Gioventù Nazionale, this year saw the extraordinary participation of the President of the Council Giorgia Meloni. The event, which takes place every year in Rome, represents an important opportunity for young people from the center-right, as well as for Italian and international political leaders, to meet.
“We are up in the world, I know that Italy is up to the world!” – In her speech, Meloni emphasized the importance of cohesion within her coalition and reiterated the need for a united political action to tackle the challenges Italy is facing. “We need a strong and united Italy, capable of responding to global challenges and ensuring a better future for our new generations,” she declared, drawing attention to crucial issues such as the economy, security, and immigration.
“We will honor the task that has been given to us until the last day,” reiterated the Premier from the Atreju stage in front of the “carpet” of tricolor flags.
Continuing, the Prime Minister touched on practically all the main current issues, especially regarding the immigration centers in Albania, which she assures “will work” “because I am an honest person and I want to fight the mafia.”
“The protocol with Albania is the thing traffickers fear the most; stopping the protocol is the biggest favor we can do for these criminals,” reiterated the Premier.
The leader of Brothers of Italy also wanted to highlight the results achieved by her government during a period of great economic and social difficulty. “In these months, we have worked hard to revive the economy, support families, and ensure the safety of our citizens,” she stated, highlighting the measures taken to counter inflation and support businesses.
Meloni also spoke about Europe, expressing her vision of a more just and citizen-friendly European Union. She called for a strengthening of national sovereignty, stating that “Italy must have a say in the decisions that concern us, without passively enduring the impositions of Brussels.”
However, criticism of the left was not lacking – in her speech, Meloni mentioned both PD Secretary Elly Schlein and Romano Prodi numerous times.
“Schlein gets tongue-tied when she has to say the word Stellantis,” Meloni said regarding the automotive factory crisis.
She also spoke about Landini, saying – “The truth is that he doesn’t organize strikes to help workers but to help the left.” The president of Brothers of Italy does not ‘spare’ even the celebrities opposed to the government’s measures on public order, such as “the anti-mafia guru Roberto Saviano” or the many “actors and singers” who have come out against the security bill – “They will have the same result as Hollywood against Donald Trump.”
She also spoke about Trump, sending him her best wishes from the stage as if he were the newly elected President, and reiterated that as a “right-wing woman” she is happy to be able to engage in dialogue with American conservatives.
“Stability guarantees this nation international credibility,” reiterated the Prime Minister, who received significant endorsement from CNN, which stated that Giorgia Meloni could “bridge the gap between the USA and the European Union” and that the growing popularity of the Meloni government “has made Rome a key player in relations between Europe and the United States.”
Finally, Meloni concluded her speech with an appeal to the young people present: “You are the future of this country.” “Do not be afraid to dream big and to actively commit to building the Italy you desire.” His words sparked enthusiasm among the youth, who felt called to be the protagonists of change.
